McCourt has proven over and over that he's clueless, so this latest example thereof is no surprise. I normally dislike rooting against business owners, as having been one I know all the garbage that goes along with it... but in this case, McCourt seems to have little clue what owning a business really means. Funny - his interpretation is what so many people think owning a business is all about... tons of perks, doing whatever you want whenever you want, and the business magically pays for all of it. Except in rare cases, that definition couldn't be further from the truth - and what has happened to McCourt is what would happen to most business owners if they ran their business that way... Funnier still is how most of the people who buy into that definition are jealous of business owners because of their perception of the "rich & famous" lifestyle business ownership allows. Wonder if any of those people will wake up now that they've seen what usually happens if a business owner lives their life the way these people think they do. Probably not. Meanwhile, though, what's happening to McCourt was caused by McCourt... so I'm having a tough time drumming up any sympathy.

I suggested Lance Nix because the Nationals may be sellers soon and because a left handed hitter with more pop than Loney hitting behind Kemp will make it harder on pitchers.

Ethier
Kemp
Nix

ethier and nix aren't that good vs lefties but kemp kills lefties. will u bring in a left handed pitcher to try and get ethier and burn a righty against kemp or do u just hold onto the right to pitch to both ethier and kemp and then bring in the lefty on nix. either way, they're going ot get burned

I agree with you on Broxton, shame, but I think you're right. I would keep Padilla. For one, he's relatively cheap. For two, he can spot start or be converted into a long man. Just my thoughts, anyway.

I wanted to blame the bullpen but if Kershaw hadn't loaded the bases with no outs, the pressure wouldn't have been on the bullpen to get out that inning.

Really? I watched the game and the bullpen blew it!!! Their job is to come in and stop the bleeding. They did not do it that game or any other game this year!!! I think we have the worst bullpen in the world. Finally, you can't blame the offense.
